23 October 2014 Thursday.
It was a nice sunny day at Akaroa.
Heading to Akaroa. NZ is always green.
Akaroa is a nice little village at the edge of a crater bay. It was hilly drive as we drove up the hilly terrain around the crater.

We brought our dolphin cruise tickets from i-site. Stopped by Akaroa Fish and Chip for our lunch.
After lunch… exploring the water front while waiting for our cruise.

The Dolphin Dog barked and we spotted some lovely creatures swimming…

After the amazing dolphin cruise, we decided to make our return trip via Akaroa Summit Road. Zigzag up the mountainous path, Akaroa getting smaller after each turn.

It was around 1800 hrs when we were back to Christchurch. After a full day excursion, replenishing our biofuel @ BurgerFuel.

End of day 20 : We had a fantastic day out at Akaroa… superb greenery, amazing dolphin cruise and it is leisurely wonderful on the summit drive. Very good juicy Sunset burger at BurgerFuel. Well had to spend the evening packing out luggage.
