We woke up early and drove to Jökulsárlón. The meeting point was this Glacier Cafe, beside the Glacier Lagoon.
Looking into the lagoon….. I took this picture because it truly reflect what commonly known as tip of iceberg (the percentage difference in density between ice and water showed up as the mass of ice above the water).
At around 0930 hrs, we boarded this monster vehicle and sped our way to ice cave site.
The ride was fairly rocky.

Took a rest before we got out of the cave…. The ice wall looked like frozen aquarium.
On the way back, we had short stopover at this lookout.

Leaving Jökulsárlón, we journeyed towards Hofn. This was a stopover point on a lonely road.

we reached Hofn at around 1500 hrs …. checked into our hotel – Hofn Milk Factory.
We had early dinner at this restaurant, just beside the fishery port.
It was quite popular among locals.
Ai Tin’s Birthday celebration….
Dinner was good, especially the small fried Lobsters.
….end of Day 4… we had our ultimate Ice Cave experience. A relaxing day, more leisure, Birthday Celebration for Aitin and very tasty Birthday dinner.
