While we lingered lazily after breakfast…. we heard the music of brass bands. The local told us the music came from Guard Change processing … we ran and follow the Marching Guards.

We watched the entire proceeding but unable to tell when the guard changed program ended. A long period of standing…. this was a very good rest point in the city center.

After shopping at Ilum, we started our slow journey to little Mermaid. This is interesting  – open spa by the harbour – known as Copenhot…. come in the form of floating small boat or bigger wooden block of bath tub. It will be an unique experience to enjoy the hot spa on cold winter night.

It was a long walk along the coast. Statens Museum for Kunst. How nice if this was a patch of rose garden.

Kastellet was originally a fortress build in 1626. Today, it is a public park for the people living in Copenhagen. It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Just when we were about to leave the little mermaid, a seaplane flew into the harbour. Unfortunately, not meant to pick us.

We had a very enjoyable day in Copenhagen. This city gave me a feel of new life, new generation, very healthy lifestyles mixed with many old historical site, colorful, peaceful and yet modern. A wonderful place with mixed varieties.
