14 March 2017, Tuesday (My Birthday)
I woke up early and drove to Blue Car Rental Office to return my car and then leisurely strolled back to our apartment. After breakfast, we started our Reykjavik exploration.
Just beside our apartment is this kindergarten. We peeked in between the fencing to see what the toddles were doing…. so cute.
A short walk to Hallgrimskirkja Church….

The church was packed with tourists.

We brought the tickets and took the lift to the viewing platform at the top of the church.

We had hot coffee, cakes, biscuits and some good rest.

We had enough of reflective photo session…. heading out of Perlan. Our friends went crazy with these monuments.
Just before we inched further from Perlan….the wind turned ferocious and we experienced our first hailstorm in our life.
It was sunny again and we leisurely strolled towards Tjörnin swan lake…. walk and rest.

The birds were flying off and it was also time for us to move on….
We had the famous Reykjavik Hot Dog
and from far I thought I can have free beer at an outlet. I rush forward….
There were plentiful of art pieces everywhere.

It was a long walk to Sun Voyager.

Leisurely we strolled to Harpa Concert Hall.
Inside Harpa – felt as if entrance into glassy honeycomb.
It was dinner time….We had dinner at Fish Market – Fiskmarkadurinn. It was local catch tinted with Japanese flavour. Looked good and tasted wonderful… everything seemed so perfect.

Then the grand Finale….
After dinner, its prayer time….before we headed back to our apartment.
I had a wonderful and very enjoyable Birthday in Reykjavik. I really wish everyday of my life is enjoyable and is filled with colorful and wonderful varieties…
