We set off a little late and headed to Westfield Mall for breakfast and shopping. Arriving at Westfield…
A very large complex carrying all the major outlet – Kmart, Farmers, New World and numerous smaller stores.
We had breakfast at Muffin Break. The muffin choices are plentiful and all looked tasty.

Food presentation is good and very tasty.
After lunch, it was leisure driving to Muriwai Beach. Arriving at the car park…
…. Infinity beach merging with horizon.
After the wave rolled out, a thin layer of water remain on the beach…. giving it a perfect reflective surface.
It was as if walking on mirror….Superb view.

Pondering if the gap between the land mass – Was this separated by erosion or by earthquake…. I choose to believe it was earthquake. (Rock protrusion on the left matches with Rock cut on the right)

On the rocky headland…. There are hundreds of shallow dimples on the rocky surface.

It was not easy walking with the so many water filled rock dimples.
There are a lot of sea birds around.

Enough of Jump Shots…. it was time to Leave the lovely Muriwai Beach and Gannet Colony. It was a long drive amid heavy traffic while on our way to Mission Bay.

A long night of catching up with relative who live in Auckland…

And it was time to say good bye….
