15 May 2019 Wednesday
We had all our luggage loaded into the car. Returned and leisurely enjoying our breakfast.
Took few pictures of this lovely dinning area before we set off.
Our first stop for the day … Sofiero Palace.
Picture with tulips at the entrance…
and more tulips….
An attendance advised us to head right… as there are more things to see.
Yes…A nice little pond….
cool and relaxing!
I love the reflective yellow and green and images….
On the pathway to Greenhouse…. The official name is Crown Princess Margaret’s Flower Walk.
My wife was fascinated by colorful tulips….
This is probably a mixed of greenhouse and staff quarters.
Shop selling potted plants.
At one corner… we saw gardener aggressively removing the plants…They said spring is ending and its time to make ways for the summer plants.
According to the site map, this is called the Labyrinth. I called this The Green Wall.
Looking through the Green Window…
Short distance from the Green Wall is an open grass patch….The Royal Football Field
Peculiar standing stone at one corner of the open field
Out of curiosity… my wife peep between the stones
and stunning reflections…
Through our camera lens… images seen from slightly differing angles…Wonderful mixed of scientific and artistic exhibit.
Hearing the whisper of the wind as we strolled into the forested area besides the open field.

As we advanced… this is the true forest, filled with majestic trees.

A short break at a little hut.
As we walked, we heard kiddy joyous laughter.

Enjoyment at the playground
and an empty classroom…
A short walk from the play ground…
It is the coastal area. This is known as Killer Whale!

Outside the wooden fence
The weather was superb… bright sunlight, clear blue sky with cool sea breeze, as we headed back to the Sofiero Palace. Crossing a bridge.
… and reflective stream feast our eyes.

Vegetations by the slow flowing water.

Wow…. unique species !?

Rhododendron Gully

Zooming in on flowers
Our pictures….
A short walk and we were at Sofiero Palace.

Our pictures in front of Sofiero Palace

Sun bathing….and it was too hot
Enjoying Ice Cream.
Exploring Sofiero Palace….exhibits on the first floor.

Looking out of the window…

Suddenly, we realized it was almost noon….

On our way to Lund
It was all yellow as far as our eyes can see.
A little stop…
My wife simply enjoy the amazing sea of Infinity Golden Yellow.

A quick bite at Lund…
After lunch, we headed for the thousand years old Lund Cathedral.
Majestic and Spectacular
A little prayer.
Close up
Superb art pieces . Very fine details !
The basement of Cathedral… we do not like the feel of the place.
Just besides the Cathedral…is the Lund University
My wife thought this is cool…
I thought this is found only in fairy tales !
And a lonely bicycle
Time to move on…. back to Malmo…. feel of cool evening.
Based on a friends’ recommendation… we make a dinner reservation at Arstiderna I Kocksha Huset.
The restaurant was located underground, with very old European arched ceiling design.
Dim orange lightings gave it an aura of romance.
and good selections of wines for very romantic dinners.
My wife think it is a lovely place for good dinner.
Start with fiery oysters
Delicious Starters
The main course…very well presented.
Our pictures
After sumptuous dinner… we were on a train ride to Copenhagen. It has been a long day – tiring and enjoyable. Looking forward to exotic Greenland.
